The artists i chose to look at for the CUBISM project is George Condo
My final piece for this project:
With cubism i didnt really understand it and i really liked the concept of you could have an idea and run with it
My piece was inspired by Bowie i love all the colours Bowie has in his albulm covers and i just ran with it. I personally love cubism because i feel as though you can do absolutely anything with it and youll still get an outcome that fits the 'cubism' look.
Geroge condo: I find Geroge's work quirky and unique, so I chose inspiration from him as his work is full of shapes and lines. Most of his work has a lot to do with facial expressions and colour. George takes the normal human face structure and mixes it around to show another artwork through the shapes and positions of the face. George's style is normally focused on cubism but is his own twist on what he thinks cubism is Condo's style is distinctively his own personal style. Which I really like because he does his own thing, and his style really pays off. All the colours are so bright and unique which I have tried to take inspiration for my colour pallete as I have used bright colours and shapes.
